Pull The Plug is a non-violent grassroots movement. We were set up by a small group of ordinary people concerned about the impact of AI on our industries, our communities, and our environment. We are not against tech, nor are we anti-AI, but we want people to have their say about the development and implementation of AI. We want to Pull the Plug on Big Tech's undemocratic control of AI. We call on the UK government to fund binding Citizens' Assemblies on AI and implement their decisions. We all know best what role we want AI to play in our lives. By bringing together juries of ordinary people, informed by experts, to make binding decisions about AI, we can take back control from a handful of US tech companies overshadowing every aspect of our lives.

If the UK government prefers to listen to industrial lobbyists over its own citizens, we will take matters into our own hands and set up a Citizens' Assembly on AI.
